If you’re serious about Super Bowl Sunday and already making plans, here’s an event you won’t want to miss. Salty Sow and Roaring Fork have teamed up to offer you dinner on the house the night of the big game, February 1. They’ll be picking up the check for one entrée for every entrée purchased. Both restaurants will be serving up seasonal favorites and all-American specials.

Roaring Fork

The event takes places at all three locations: Roaring Fork Stonelake, Roaring Fork Downtown, and Salty Sow. This gives you plenty of options for how you envision your evening.

 Roaring Fork

Start off with chips and some of the best guac in Austin at Roaring Fork.

Roaring Fork serves up bold American cuisine with a wood fired grill that adds a rugged flavor. Both locations offer casual yet upscale dining but with different atmospheres. The Stonelake location features a patio with panoramic views of Quarry Lake while the downtown location is convenient to nightlife attractions. Try out the “Big Ass” Burger, loaded with Poblano pepper, cheddar, and smoked bacon. Some of our other favorites include the Green Chile Mac and Cheese and the Slow Roasted Pork Shoulder Carnitas. There’s even a daily selection of black angus steaks and market fresh fish grilled over the wood fire.

Salty Sow offers up contemporary farmhouse fare that is mindfully and locally sourced. This trendy east side spot has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating for your group. Ordering several plates and sharing is always a great idea here. We’re crazy about both their brussels offerings: Brussels Sprout Caesar Salad and Crispy Brussels Sprout Leaves. You also can’t go wrong with the Candied Pork Belly or Slow-Cooked Beef Shoulder, served with Yukon gold mashed potatoes, glazed root vegetables, and a fried egg.

No matter which restaurant you choose, you’re in for a great meal and of course a free entrée on the house. Definitely be sure to make a reservation so you don’t miss out!
