As this little city grows, so do the number of restaurants! It's not easy to wade through the options, so we're here to do it for you. There are a ton of delicious pizza joints in town, but here are our faves!

Home Slice Pizza
Not only are the location and people watching great, but the pies are too! Homeslice might not be the cheapest pizza in town, but you get plenty of pizza for your money. The slices are huge, the crust is always perfect, and you have a ton of options for toppings. We also love that you can order by the slice.

This East Side neighborhood joint serves Neopolitan pizza that hits the spot every time. The pizza is made in the traditional way from Naples, where the owner and chef went to learn the trade. Bufalina fills up fast, so get there early! Note that they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

This campus spot is located in an adorable old home with a comfy front porch. Salvation serves New Haven style pizza - a traditional East Coast pie with a crisp crust and fresh toppings. Some of the stand out pizzas here include the White pie with fresh basil, fresh garlic, and sliced roma tomato; the Asparagus, bacon, and jalapeno pizza; and the Sausage, onion, jalapeno, and black olive pizza.

The Backspace
The Backspace is perfect for so many reasons - the pizza oven is front and center which leaves the restaurant smelling amazing at all times, it's cozy comfy due to the restaurant's small size, and the pizza crust is flaky but soft with just a little crunch. So good! Some of our fave artisan pizzas here include the House Guanciale, which is made with charred onion, mustard greens, and mozzarella, and the classic Margherita pizza.

House Pizzeria
House Pizzeria serves some really creative pizza, and they never miss the mark. A standout pizza on their menu is the Blue (pictured below), made with fresh mozzarella, Stilton cheese, and a sweet port reduction. Another unique winner is the Subterranean, made with caramelized onion, fontina cheese, mushrooms, rosemary roasted potatoes, and basil. House Pizzeria's pizzas are on the smaller size, so you can go with a friend or two and order a few.

Stay tuned for Thursday's post, dedicated to another delish pizza joint in town, Little Deli and Pizzeria.
