As Domain Northside unfolds, a slew of restaurants and bars have made their way onto the scene. Culinary Dropout is one of the latest to make its home in the neighborhood. Serving up hearty American fare and good times, this restaurant and bar also has outposts in Las Vegas, Phoenix, Scottsdale, and Tempe.

Be sure to sip on some of their signature cocktails like the Pistols at Dawn.

Start off with a light snack like the Charred Broccoli.

The menu features fun twists on bar food classics like BBQ Pork Belly Nachos, Thai Chile Chicken Wings, and Cheddar Pork Cracklings. There are tons of snacks to share or you can build a meal from the small dishes. Choose from charcuterie, cheese, tiny snack dishes, and larger shareable plates (like the chicken wings or hummus). We kicked off the night with the spicy Charred Broccoli, which sits in a delicious cheese sauce.

The Roasted Salmon is an excellent choice for dinner.

The larger dishes include salads, sandwiches, and entree plates. You’ll find plenty of classics like the Pub Burger (a burger including havarti cheese, bacon, and house BBQ sauce) or the Grilled Chicken Club. The entree dishes class up the joint a bit with plates like the Rainbow Trout or Korean Style Ribeye Cap (which can sell out early). But don’t be fooled, you can still get your hands dirty with casual fare like the Ma...The Meatloaf!?! or Beer Battered Fish & Chips. We tried the Fried Chicken, which has crispy skin drizzled in honey, adding a sweet surprise to the southern classic.

You'll find plenty of classic comfort dishes like the Fried Chicken.

The restaurant is definitely spacious, which makes it perfect for large groups. It’s also on the noisier side, so you can even invite your loud friend. But you might want to think twice about making this a date night spot. The design is modern with industrial touches. A good amount of the seating is outside, where large white tufted couches wrap around the patio. There are plenty of yard games for you to pass the time. Grab your friends for a corn hole or ping pong tournament while waiting for your meal.
