The highly anticipated Café No Sé, an all-day neighborhood café featuring California-inspired American dining, is now open. The café is located at South Congress Hotel, on the corner of South Congress Avenue and Milton Street, and is now serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and brunch, with the kitchen staying open until midnight on the weekends. It's the perfect place to meet friends for a meal, to work remotely, or just to grab a coffee while reading your favorite book. It's also an awesome spot for a huge group dinner - check out the communal table pictured below!

Clean global flavors from East Asia, Italy and the Middle East influence the eclectic, seasonal American menu. You’ll find classics like heirloom tomato & peach gazpacho or the avocado toast with a soft-boiled egg, crème fraîche and aleppo pickled carrot (pictured below). International dishes on the menu include the summer spread with grilled laffa bread, tahini dressing and sprouted grains and big eye tuna poke bowl. The restaurant also features a custom Café No Sé coffee blend by local roaster Cuvée Coffee. Baked fresh daily and made in-house, the pastry offering is full of familiar flavors, but with unique presentations and techniques used in the Kir Royale paleta: a currant raspberry popsicle, raspberry mint salad and prosecco pour-over, a play on the classic French cocktail.  We also loved the croissant- flaky, buttery perfection. On our recent visit for brunch, we devoured the Big Eye Tuna Poke Bowl, the Avocado Toast with Soft Boiled Egg (so on trend right now!), and the Cafe Scramble. We noticed so many little touches that really took the meal up a notch- little things like adding lime zest to the avocado toast and grilling the bread that comes with the cafe scramble. Guests can also try a variety of ice cream and sorbet flavors.

Waterloo Workshop worked with Michael Hsu Office of Architecture and interior designer Studio MAI to realize the restaurant. The space is simple and inviting for both visitors and residents. Enjoy the wrap around patio while people watching on the only landscaped block of South Congress. Much like the menu offerings, the interior is light, cool and fresh with white washed wood paneled walls, custom designed wicker chairs, reclaimed wood tables and cement tiles.

We peeked at the lunch and dinner menus and can't wait to go back! We hear the Milk-Braised Pork Sandwich and also the No Se Cheeseburger are pretty killer, and great for sharing.
