Austin is a city that has a ton of budget friendly options for shopping, dining, and drinking. Because there's such a large population of students, post-grads, and young people in general, you can find your fair share of deals and activities that won't break the bank. When it comes to shopping, budgeting can really take the wind out of your sails, but thanks to the great steals and deals you'll find at the boutiques below, you can stock your closet without emptying your bank account. Here are some of Austin's best bets for budget boutique shopping:

Strut

Strut's prices are basically rock-bottom. You can score a whole outfit for well under $100, and they even have a great selection of affordable purses, shoes, and jewelry. The shopgirls at Strut are so great at putting outfits together, so don't be afraid to ask for help. It's also wise to sign up for Strut's email list so you can get the heads up when a sale is about to start. A few times a year, the whole store is 40% off! It doesn't get much better than that. Style-wise, Strut focuses on what's trendy now. Here are some recent affordable finds from Strut:

SoLa

SoLa's pricing is pretty comparable to Strut- you can definitely get a few things and stay at or under $100. And if you hit SoLa during a sale, then you'll really get great bang for your buck. One of the coolest things about SoLa is their free personal stylist service. You can email or call in ahead of your visit to let them know what you're into and what you need, and they'll pull pieces just for you. Did we mention it's free? It's free! The stylist can also help you learn how to nail the "3 piece rule" - something SoLa encourages you to stick to. They say, "Allow us to introduce you to the three-piece rule. Yes, that’s right style mavens, it’s as easy as one-two-three. Not including shoes, each look probably has three key elements. You can count the top and bottom as one piece each, leaving room for one more key article. Whether it be a belt, scarf, leg wear or an extra layer, this is where you can let your creativity in clothing shine." SoLa stocks tons of clothing, accessories, and even shoes, so you'll find everything you need. Some of our most recent favorite and affordable finds are:

The Impeccable Pig

The Impeccable Pig has a shocking amount of inventory at affordable prices. I'm surprised every time I visit at how much I'm able to get for a great price. What may be most shocking about The Impeccable Pig is that it's located on South Congress next to pricey shops like By George and Kendra Scott, so you feel like you're getting real steals here. Here are some amazing deals you can score right now:

Call of the Disco Ball dress $19.60 (on sale)

Chasing Pavement Flared Skirt $19.60 (on sale)

Beehive

One thing we really love about Beehive (amongst many others) is that they stock a great mix of afforable to expensive items. So if you're looking to mix and match, or your budget is flexible, you can find fancier options. But if you need to stick to a budget, you'll still find plenty! We especially love their curated vintage section, as well as their great selection of jewelry. They stock tons of obscure up-and-coming designers, so you likely won't find yourself wearing the same thing as anyone else in the room. Some fave finds include:

White Mesh Bomber $45

Yellow Accordion Top $55
