When you can't just hop on a flight to Rome, head over to Winflo Osteria for authentic, satisfying Italian food. We dropped in the other day and had a leisurely lunch. When a restaurant is this cute, you never want to leave! We really loved the Verdure di Stagione Panini, a vegetarian sandwich of artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, crimini mushrooms, olives, fresh mozzarella, and basil pesto on herbed focaccia. Meat lovers shouldn't miss the Prosciutto Pizza which comes with balsamic onion marmalade (which we want a full jar of now!), baby arugula, proscuitto, and parmesan cheese. The dough is cooked to a perfect crisp but the crust has just enough fluff. We also recommend the Meatball appetizer, as well as the Caprese.

The icing on the cake at Winflo? You can stop circling- there's a parking lot hidden in back, which isn't always easy to find in Clarksville.
