It's that time of year again to finally call your mom back. We suggest going a step further and celebrating Mother's Day by taking mom out to a boozy brunch this Sunday. If you're not sure where to take her, we've got you covered. Here's a list of Austin's best Mother's Day brunches for every type of mom. 

Goodall's

Goodall’s Kitchen
10am-3pm, $44 per person

For the classic mom, Goodall's Kitchen at Hotel Ella is offering a three course prix-fixe brunch for $44 per person. From 10am-3pm, you can order dishes like the Warm Sugar Donuts (featuring cinnamon and nutella), Ricotta Hotcakes, or the Goodall’s Hash (a delicious mix of poached eggs, chorizo, caramelized onion, salsa verde, and cotija cheese). Afterward, work off your meal with a stroll on the mansion’s lawn.

Central Standard

Central Standard
11am-3pm, $45 per person

If your mom is a cool mom, check out Central Standard’s brunch. Located in the trendy and brand new South Congress Hotel, the eatery is serving up a prix-fixe menu that includes a sweet and savory selection of Pastries for the Table and the chef’s selection of East Coast oysters. You’ll have your choice of entree from a selection of classic breakfast dishes and hearty meals like a 9oz Prime Rib Roast.

Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile

Your mom's earned all this money but you still can't take the country off her. Southern moms will appreciate Jacoby’s rustic look and menu of ranch-to-table classics. The day’s brunch menu includes classics like Chicken & Waffles, Chicken Fried Steak, and the Smoked Jacoby Beef Hash (featuring fingerling potatoes, caramelized onions, and roasted peppers). Punch Bowl Social
$29 per adult, $15 per child (ages 15 and under), free for kids under 6

Sure she’s your mom, but she’s your cousin’s Crazy Aunt. Always competitive and the first to hit the margarita mix, your mom will love Punch Bowl Social’s All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet. Some of the options include a house cured ham carving station, a make your own omelette bar, jambalaya, and monkey bread french toast. Monger’s Market + Kitchen

Treat your adventurous mom to seafood for breakfast. Monger’s Market + Kitchen is adding a few special items to its brunch menu for the holiday, including Lobster Benedict and Pineapple Basil Mimosas.

Their regular brunch menu features playful classics like the Butter Pecan French Toast and creative seafood items like the Smoked Grouper Omelette. And of course you can sip on mimosas, house-made sangria, and micheladas to cure last night’s hangover.
