Cinco de Mayo is right around the corner (next Thursday, May 5, to be exact), and there are tons of fiesta-inspired cocktails in Austin to try. Here are some of our faves!

Try their delicious and refreshing Paloma, made with tequila, grapefruit, salt.

CANTINE Italian Cafe & Bar
CANTINE has a very unique drink that's a must-try! Their Draft CANTINE Pinarita is made with tequila blanco, mezcal, pineapple, Fire & Damnation bitters, and lime.

Isla will have $2 Modelo Micheladas specials on Cinco de Mayo! Other drinks to enjoy include:
- Prickly Pear Margarita: tequila, honey rum, prickly pear, lime juice
- Pineapple Margarita: reposado tequila, pineapple juice, dry curacao, lime juice, coriander salt
Fresca ($5 during happy hour, 5-7 p.m.): reposado tequila, blood orange juice, lime juice, agave

The Peached Tortilla
This delicious fusion resto puts an awesome spicy Asian twist on the traditional margarita with their Margarita de Peached, made with habanero infused tequila, thai basil, cointreau, and lime juice.

Jacoby’s Restaurant & Mercantile
Jacoby's serves a great Mezcal Margarita, made with Mezcal, agave, lime, and Trechas rim, as well as a spicy Jalapeno Business cocktail, made with jalapeno and cucumber infused tequila with agave, fresh lime juice and Trechas rim.

Odd Duck
We can't rave enough about Odd Duck's Draft Paloma, made with Tequila blanco, grapefruit, tarragon, ginger, and salt foam. Is this the best Paloma in Austin? We think it just might be!

Barley Swine
Always embracing creativity, Barley Swine boasts the Chucho, made with Sotol seasoned with pine and orange, lime, grapefruit, and saline. It's a sotol-based cocktail seasoned with pine needles and Texas oranges. Lime acid, grapefruit and saline allow those notes to pop off. Sotol is sweeter than mezcal and not smoky, the tannins from the pine needle and acidity from the citrus make this a very "spring forward" cocktail.
