Brunching is now trendier than ever, but with Austin's popularity growing at such an alarming rate, it can be difficult to get into a restaurant in time to score brunch. Cue Snooze to solve that problem. At Snooze, breakfast is available every morning and afternoon, every day. There are two locations - one on South Lamar and one on North Lamar, so you won't have to go far after rolling out of bed.

Snooze's South Lamar interior

Snooze's South Lamar location has a ton of seating, both indoor and out. If it's busy, you'll be put on a list, but seating at the bar is first come, first serve. After getting seated, you'll probably want to caffeinate or start off with a morning cocktail. You'll find the standard house coffee, teas, cappuccinos, mocha, and espresso, but also "boozy warmers" such as The Dirty Drunken Chai (Bhakti Chai, Espresso, Steamed Milk, Coffee Liqueur & Cruzan Rum) and the Kentucky Coffee (Espresso, Cyrus Noble Bourbon, Fresh Mint and Simple Syrup. Cold cocktails include the standard mimosa, as well as more creative bubbly concoctions like The Violet Beauregarde (Snooze Sparkling, CapRock Gin, Pomegranate-Ginger Shrub and Soda splash) and the Snooze Spritz (Snooze Sparkling, Aperol, Fresh Orange & Soda Splash). If you need even more options, you'll find a few varieties of the Bloody Mary. In just looking at drinks, it quickly becomes clear that Snooze gives you tons of options.

The giant menu at Snooze is divided into egg dishes, hollandaise dishes, sandwiches, sweet dishes, and healthy dishes. Each category has a variety of choices, each one more decadent than that last. If you come here looking for a light meal, pickins are slim. Some of their more unique dishes from each category include:
- The Breakfast Pot Pie
Snooze’s homemade rosemary sausage gravy smothers a flaky puff pastry, topped with an egg your style (they recommend sunny side up!), complete with hash browns.
- The Benny Goodman
Lox style salmon and cream cheese served over toasted rye and topped with poached cage free eggs, cream cheese hollandaise blended with sun dried tomato and caper relish.
- The Havana Daydreaming
Free-range house pork, shaved ham, gruyere cheese, homemade pickles and a sunny side egg (or your call) with Dijon hollandaise, served up open-face on a hoagie roll.
- The Pineapple Upside Down Pancakes
Buttermilk pancakes with caramelized pineapple chunks, housemade vanilla crème anglaise and cinnamon butter
- The Quinoa Porridge
A hearty blend of quinoa and oats topped with sliced bananas, seasonal berries, walnuts, whipped mascarpone cream and a drizzle of blackberry maple syrup.

As you can see, Snooze isn't your standard American diner. Everything at Snooze can be customized, and creative changes are even encouraged, which is super helpful if you're with a picky eater. You won't find a waiter or chef snubbing their nose at difficult requests here.

The Benny Goodman
With so many options, it's hard to choose what to order! But Snooze really won us over when we saw that a Pancake Flight was on the menu. With the Pancake Flight, you get to choose any three pancake flavors from the menu and get the best of all worlds. We decided on a Pineapple Upside Down Pancake, a classic Blueberry Pancake, and a Goodness cake. This dish was super decadent, and we were barely able to make a dent in it! This is surely a dish to share with a large table of friends or family.

While the Snooze menu can be rich and incredibly creative, they're also able to cater to customers looking for a more standard, classic breakfast. When we placed a simple order The Snooze Classic with egg whites, ham, hashbrowns, and toast, they didn't blink an eye and executed it perfectly.

Snooze has found a happy home in Austin, where foodies and college kids alike love to see options and creativity in their brunch. Snooze is open from 6:30am (hello earlybirds!) to 2:30pm (hello sleepyheads), so no matter what time you roll out of bed, you'll always find the perfect breakfast waiting for you there.
