After closing up shop for a year of renovations, Titaya's Thai Cuisine has finally reopened for business. Titaya's originally opened in 2006 and aims to deliver a unique dining experience every time. The namesake owner started the restaurant with the help of her brother Ek Timerek, an Uchi veteran who also helped open the first East Side King trailer. With all the hype comes long wait times as fans line up outside for a table. While the food is definitely worth the wait, you'll want to claim a spot early in the evening.

If you've frequented Titaya's before the hiatus, you'll notice new additions to the menu of authentic cuisine. The restaurant reported on its Twitter account that the new menu included 12 new dishes. Some of the new items include the Larb Sake tasting plate and coconut panna cotta dessert. Depending on how hungry you are, you'll definitely appreciate sharing your meal with someone since the servings are pretty generous.

Located in an unassuming shopping center, the interior is stylishly decorated with gallery walls of black and white photography. The design hits a great balance between trendy and casual with dim lighting that helps add some romantic flare. This makes the restaurant a great spot for a casual date or an evening out with friends. Among the renovation additions are a beautifully lit bar, a larger waiting area, and more seating space for diners.
