Morning Glory at Manana

This weekend, I couldn't bear to grab the stale coffee at my local chain coffee shop, so I made the best decision possible - I decided to finally go check out Manana Coffee and Juice at South Congress Hotel. This stylish caffeine paradise was everything and more. With a wide variety of freshly baked pastries, freshly pressed juice, and tons of coffee and tea options, I was in morning heaven!

When you walk in, you immediately notice a glowing selection of pastries surrounded by a gorgeously decorated atmosphere. It's almost impossible to think about coffee before pastries, as seeing the flaky, buttery goodness is so wildly enticing. Our advice is to take a peek at the pastries, then make your way to the register to order your drink and food. There's a large selection of caffeinated and non-caffeinated drinks, including espresso, cappuccino, coffee, tea, cold brew coffee, and more. Almost all coffee drinks are available with dairy-free milks, as well.

Manana's glorious pastry case and beautiful atmosphere

Caffeine, anyone?

If you have way more self control than I do, you'll focus on Manana's freshly pressed juices instead of the pastries. But if you're smart, you'll get both. There's a great selection of juices to choose from. The Green #1 has granny smith apple, cucumber, celery, spinach, kale, lemon, ginger, and jalapeño. The Beet #1 is made with beets, granny smith apple, celery, lemon, lime, and ginger. The Carrot #1 has carrot, orange, fennel, turmeric, and ginger. The Citrus #1 is made with orange, grapefruit, and pineapple. There’s also a watermelon-lime juice, and pure orange juice. Juices range from $9-10.

Freshly pressed juices!

This trip, my order consisted of a macaron, almond milk cappuccino, cinnamon roll, sausage and cheese kolache, chocolate croissant, and raspberry cream cheese danish. So much goodness, so much happiness on one plate! I shared with friends and left feeling on top of the world. I might've had a slight sugar crash later in the day, but that could've easily been remedied with another trip back to Manana for some coffee!

Check out Manana Coffee and Juice at South Congress Hotel soon - valet at the hotel is free for 3 hours for restaurant and coffee shop customers. We recommend getting there early for the best selection from the pastry case!
