Raw Nights at Mongers Market + Kitchen

Beat the heat at Mongers Market + Kitchen! Beginning Sept. 8, and running every Tuesday in September, Mongers will host Raw Nights, featuring Chef Shane Stark’s special off-menu raw dishes, guaranteed to provide diners with a refreshing perspective on summer.

On Raw Nights, Mongers will highlight several freshly prepared raw dishes, each ranging from $12 to $17 per plate. Raw Nights specialties include four crudo recipes, four ceviche dishes and three poké plates.

Chef Stark’s crudo dishes include the following:
- Hamachi with Asian pear, chives and espelette peppers
- Ora King Salmon, the finest of salmon breeds, served with fennel, orange, Kalamata olives and fresh beets
- Tuna with shallots, capers, basil and lemon
- Bream served with pine nuts, chives and fresh arugula. 

Ceviche specialties featured on Raw Nights include:
- Freshly caught Gulf White Shrimp served Texas-style, with cucumber, jalapeño, avocado and lime
- Tuna with heirloom tomato, Serrano peppers, ginger and sesame
- Scallop served with Fresno chilies, Aji Amarillo yellow chili peppers, crispy garlic and popped hominy
- Thai-inspired Snapper with kaffir lime, coconut, Thai chili, basil and peanuts. 

Raw Nights' featured poké dishes, each served with ogonori seaweed, traditional Hawaiian inamona relish, sesame, shoyu and onion, include Tuna Poké, tropical Wahoo Poké and sweet shrimp Ama Ebi Poké.


Tuna ceviche -- yellowfin, kabosu, ginger, sesame


Hamachi crudo -- espellette, asian pear, serrano, agave

Mongers’ expert servers can recommend a wide variety of local craft beers, bubblies and wines that perfectly pair with each Raw Nights delicacy.
