With authentic Mexican cuisine, a spacious patio, and a friendly wait staff, Takoba is the perfect spot to grab a drink and some tacos on the East Side.  Located on E. 7th Street, Takoba even has a large (and free!) parking lot adjacent to the restaurant to make the dining experience that much more convenient and relaxing.

Takoba specializes in high-quality, interior Mexican dishes, sourcing ingredients from select local vendors and Mexican imports.  With a wide selection of tacos, tortas, enchiladas, and chile rellenos, Takoba offers choices to satisfy even the biggest Mexican food snobs.

Takoba also features two full bars with a wide selection of Latin American beers and a range of reasonably-priced cocktails, from a Michelada to a Mango Habanero Margarita.  Looking for something a little different?  Take advantage of the largest Mezcal selection in Austin by trying out one of their flights.

We’re also looking forward to going back for brunch to try out their migas, chilaquiles and Pan Tostado con Platanos - french toast with caramelized bananas and honey, topped with vanilla whipped cream.  Need we say more?

Though it’s not a newcomer to the scene, Takoba’s chill Austin ambiance and wide selection of fresh Mexican food keeps us coming back for more.
