Addison Gets a Neighborhood Services

It’s no secret that we are big fans of Neighborhood Services. If you’ve read our previous blog on the Preston/Royal location, you know one thing for sure: the food is consistently delicious. That level of consistency has successfully carried over to their newest location in Addison. Similar to its sister locations, the outside is a bit nondescript. While still boasting classy exteriors, NHS folks seem to have a knack for tucking their outstanding eateries into a space without a lot of flash. It almost allows for patrons to feel as if they’ve discovered the best hidden gem ever.

The new location is a bit roomier than the others, with more tables and a larger bar space. It’s still a good idea to make reservations, but waiting at the bar while sipping on one of their delicious cocktails isn’t a bad way to kill time.

The interior design is impeccable. With warm, dim lighting, cozy booths, and a well-stocked bar, that classy tavern vibe is alive and well. Modernly rustic with plenty of Texas-themed décor {and a giant American flag on the wall}, this place is comfortable, casual elegance at its finest. Oh, and the service is outstanding – always a plus.

The offerings are similar to the other two locations but include some new and unique options. Don’t fret – trusty staples like the Butcher’s Meatballs, Cheeseburger, and the London Broil {yes, with voodoo sauce} are all available. In addition, they continue the tradition of nightly pasta and seafood specials. Choose from mouthwatering options in the following categories: A/Q Specials, Bar Snacks, Cold Apps, Hot Apps, Soup & Salad, Main Plates, The Funk Room Cuts A/Q {steaks}, Seasoned Oak & Mesquite Grill, and Side Orders.  Every item below is highly recommended.

Jonah Crab & Sonoma Dry Jack Gratin

Short Rib Pot Roast Enchiladas

"London Broil" Steak Frites

Creamed Kale

We weren't offered a dessert menu. Instead, our wonderful waitress rattled off the options, and we stopped her at this one. No regrets.

Double chocolate cake {warm}, with sourcream frosting and a scoop of Henry's vanilla ice cream.

Bathrooms aren't typically blog-worthy, but these deserve a nod.

Lovely, fresh, and clean.

Well-stocked for any date crisis.

Seriously. Well-stocked.

While this is especially exciting for Addison dwellers, the dining experience you’ll get here is worth a drive. This is especially true since this location has a larger capacity and features a respectably sized patio. Did ya hear that, Uptowners? Two thumbs up!
