Brunch at Stirr is a Deep Ellum Treat

Stirr opened this past fall, and it has easily become one of our favorite new spots in Deep Ellum. Known for their cocktail offerings and great view from the rooftop, they also boast a fantastic brunch menu. Located on the corner of Main and Crowdus, Stirr’s brunch includes hot chicken to flatbreads, bread pudding to sandwiches and a little bit of everything in between.

Stirr's ambiance is relaxed and cool with contemporary and cozy furnishings.

During this particular trip, we started with one of their seasonal libations, the Rosemary Paloma. It’s crafted with Patron reposado, rosemary agave nectar, lime and grapefruit soda, giving us an incredibly crisp and polished cocktail. Next time we’re looking to give the Babe’s Old Fashioned a try—this one is made with bacon fat-washed rittenhouse rye, and we hear it’s a hit.

Yes, the Rosemary Paloma looks as good as it tastes.

The sharable plates on the brunch menu are diverse, but we were told that the giant house-made cinnamon roll was a standout, and they were not kidding. Whether or not you have a sweet tooth or just want to try something different, everyone is going to want a bite of this.

No, that's not a cake. Meet Stirr's homemade cinnamon roll.

The rest of the brunch menu has something for everyone too. This visit, we decided to go the sandwich and burger route. The Egg Sammich’ was fresh and delicious with its perfect avocado, fried egg and ciabatta bun combination. The Cow & Pig burger is stacked with IPA pickles, garlic aioli, onion strings and aged cheddar—heavy but totally worth being stuffed later.

The Egg Sammich' is brunch on a bun.

Say "hello" to your new favorite brunch burger, the Cow & Pig.

Whether you’re coming for brunch, lunch, dinner or drinks, be sure to check out their spectacular rooftop patio. What’s better than fabulous food paired with an impressive view of our city? If you need further proof of just how cool this place is, check out Stirr’s 3D Walkthrough on their official website.
