If you are craving a classic, hearty American breakfast, look no further than Crossroads Diner. You might have to fight the crowds and wait for a table on the weekends, but your first bite into that gooey cinnamon sticky bun will remind you it was worth it.

This neighborhood spot is casual and affordable, making it great for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The menu is extensive and everything you would expect to see on an American diner menu makes a debut, including biscuits and pancakes, chicken fried steak, and cheeseburgers.

Eggs, Sausage, and Wheat Toast

Blueberry Pancakes

We especially love visiting for weekend breakfast, where customers are dressed casually and uncomplainingly socialize, knowing patience is a virtue. It’s nearly impossible to go to Crossroads Diner and not order their famous Cinnamon Sticky Bun. Worth sharing, it is a huge cinnamon bun made of soft dough and topped with a pecan caramel sauce. The sweet sauce oozes into the pillowy dough and once it hits your table, you instantly know you made the right choice in ordering it.

Other great menu items include the Brioche French Toast and the Pancakes. The french toast is made of super thick pieces of brioche bread that are soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. Crossroads Diner specializes in its pancakes, which are fluffy with a classic homemade taste. We particularly liked the blueberry pancakes that came spotted with ripe, plump berries.

No matter what you order at Crossroads Diner, your meal will transport you back to your childhood and bring back sweet memories of eating these classic foods with family. The wait staff is friendly and hospitable, and the food is worth the wait.
