Driving down Main Street in Frisco, we find an adorable spot that looks like it's been transplanted from our hip neighbors to the south. This quaint little house fits the trend of unique, local and hands-on owners in this area such as {Chateau Rustic-now closed} Blue Door Boutique and 5th Street Patio Cafe. Most Metroplex residents think of Frisco as strip centers, chain dining and big box stores but the downtown area is full of charm, and the addition of Eight11 Place is another reason why this is fast becoming a favorite hangout.

Owner Ursula Clayton

Owners Lance and Ursula Clayton wanted to bring a little bit of Austin to the DFW area by way of a hip and casual neighborhood wine bar and found the perfect spot in Frisco. A lot of thought has gone into the interior space, outside patio and the menu including a creative selection of wines, Texas-brewed beers and small plates like Bruschetta and Cheese Plates from LocalSugar Fave Scardello Artisan Cheese.

The name "Eight11 Place" is a tribute to the memories of gathering at a family homestead at 811 Seven Oaks Rd for over 5 decades. Wanting to evoke the same feelings of friends and neighbors having a meeting place and enjoying each others company, this became the perfect name for Lance and Ursula's new venture.

Outdoor Patio

One of the best reasons to check out this wine bar is the cozy patio area-especially when lit up at night. They also support local artists and all paintings are for sale. Right now, Eight11 Place is in its soft opening and will be BYOB until the Grand Opening in October. Stop by for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays and nosh on offerings like buttermilk biscuits with with homemade chipotle honey AND sip on complimentary mimosas! Cheers!
