Emporium Pies, a current LocalSugar Fave in the Bishop Arts District, has just opened a second location in Downtown McKinney. Homey, cozy and downright adorable describes this new space on Tennessee Street just off the Square.

Selection of chilled pies

Order your pie at the counter, choosing from classics like Smooth Operator-French Silk Chocolate with a Pretzel Crust, to seasonal offerings such as Drop Dead Gourdgeous-Spicy Pumpkin Custard with a Gingerbread Crust, to fun favorites like The Nannerz-Bananas and House-Made Vanilla Custard. You can order a slice to eat in the shop or take home (in a cute little box wrapped in twine). Pies by the slice are $5 with the exception of Lord of the Pies (Deep Dish Apple) which costs $6.

At this location you can also get an espresso drink in addition to the French Press coffee served at both locations to go with your slice-makes for a great afternoon pick-me-up or after dinner dessert. Whole pie orders are also available and the Emporium Pies in McKinney is open just in time to order your Thanksgiving desserts. You can order online (in Oak Cliff you can call or order in the shop as well) and pick up anytime before Thanksgiving day at the Bishop Arts location and pick up on Wednesday, November 27th only in McKinney. Whole pies run $30 with the exception of Lord of the Pies which sells for $40. There are limited quantities so order early!

The Grand Opening for Emporium Pies in McKinney is Saturday, November 16 so stop in and grab a slice of sweetness!
