This is Texas so we know our Tex-Mex. We know how it varies with its salsas, meats and quesos, and we know the vibes are different at each Mexican restaurant. We also know how we like a wonderful combination of all the above, and we’ve found that in La Comida, located in Addison’s Village on the Parkway.

The lively, fun interior instantly puts you in a good mood. Just wait for the food!

Offering quality, fresh ingredients, the brunch, lunch and dinner fare is consistently creative while familiar. Locally owned and operated, La Comida’s upscale cuisine is reasonably priced and utterly delicious. From traditional Tex-Mex faves to coastal-inspired dishes, each item on the menu is prepared with the utmost care and attention. We’re talking ceviche, nachos, tender steaks, grilled mahi and everything in between.

Incredible ceviche made with coastal Mexican shrimp.

Talk about fajitas grilled to perfection! Want a little more? Try it with their jumbo bacon wrapped shrimp.

Love margaritas? Theirs are divine and there are plenty of options! Made with all natural ingredients, these margs pack a punch without all the unnecessary sugars, and you can get them for just $5 during happy hour! Happy hour is 3-6:30 pm, Monday-Friday—get discounts on beer, cocktails and appetizers as well.

A great way to start any meal: margaritas. Try their flawless classic or their famous Flamingo marg (the frozen classic swirled with sangria.)

Can’t make it to Addison for lunch or dinner or just want something different? Their weekend brunch is fantastic, and we should probably mention $10 bottomless mimosas.

So, if you’re looking for your new favorite Tex-Mex obsession, get to La Comida. The service is fantastic, and the indoor dining room is bright and happy with a retro-modern vibe. Even better, you can relax on their fabulous patio during these great weather days.
