We are lucky in Dallas to have some of the greatest burger joints around! We crave the burgers at Off-Site Kitchen, love the classics at Hunky's and pay regular visits to the popular Twisted Root and Maple & Motor just to name a few.The latest burger bar (a la Hopdoddy's Burger Bar) invasion to Dallas is Grub Burger Bar, located in the Reeder Energy Building on Greenville Ave, just south of Lovers Lane. Deciding to try this new spot out for lunch, we found the eatery packed with lots of happy diners. The process here is order at the counter, get your beverage, grab a table. Your server will bring your food to you and give you table service for the rest of the meal. Even though it was very busy, the experience went off without a hitch. Found a table, order was correct and piping hot-not to mention delicious!

We've come to demand freshness and flavor along with unique options from our burgers and Grub Burger Bar delivers. Find scratch baked buns every hour, Certified Angus chuck and brisket (ground in-house daily) and homemade sauces and dressings. They also cater to our love for locally-brewed Texas beers by including many of them on tap.

The burger options are many from the classic, The Front Porch, to the crazy-The Voodoo Mushroom (topped with absinthe sauteed mushrooms) and The Thai Peanut Burger (topped with creamy peanut butter and cilantro lime coconut flakes). The Ghost Burger is yummy and not too spicy but you can order it "inferno style" with hotter peppers and an ice cream chaser. Grub Burger Bar also offers "non-beef" burgers like Turkey Burgers, Chickpea and Eggplant Burgers and a Wild Salmon Burger among the choices. For dessert, try a Nutella or Salted Caramel hand spun shake and get it "spiked" if you can show your ID and don't have to hurry back to work.

One thing that really stood out to us was how friendly and gracious the staff at this eatery was. On the website for Grub Burger Bar they state a prime focus of the company to be nice, laugh and have fun and that definitely sets the tone for a great dining experience. Check it out and let us know if you try the Ghost Burger "Inferno Style"!
