Happiest Hour is unveiling a much anticipated (and needed) brunch menu, adding another reason to make it your go-to weekend hangout. Located in the bustling Harwood/Victory Park area, it's walking distance to the American Airlines Center. Happiest Hour is the ideal place to grab drinks and food before a game or concert, but it's also the perfect spot for post-work happy hour and now Sunday brunch.

A glass of Fortant Rose

For drinks, there's a wide selection of wine on tap (rose makes an excellent brunch choice), as well as mimosas, bloody marys and our new favorite drink, Froze - a refreshing frozen rose wine libation.

The Sugar Rush Hot Cakes

The menu is slim, but each dish is creatively thought out. There's something for every brunch goer, from sweet plates to hangover cures and more. When it comes to a sweet dish, the Sugar Rush Hot Cakes are it. Fluffy ricotta pancakes drizzled with blueberry apricot compote and topped with peanut butter and Nutella pebbles make for an unforgettable dish.

Biscuits and Jalapeno Venison Gravy

You can't go wrong with the traditional Southern breakfast treat, biscuits and gravy, and Happiest Hour certainly doesn't. Their house-made flaky biscuits are smothered in jalapeno venison gravy, making it a fantastic pairing that packs a kick.

The Shrimp and Grits are a Cajun classic.

Happiest Hour masters the Cajun classic, Shrimp and Grits. Fresh shrimp served in a Cajun cream sauce with sausage on top of decadent grits. This dish did Cajun justice. Next time we'll indulge in the full plate for sure.

The Rise and Shine Sandwich is no joke.

All hail a hangover cure! Nothing beats a greasy plate of protein and carbs to chase away the indulgences of a night of drinking and The Rise and Shine Sandwich is the ultimate combination. Two pieces of buttery, sourdough bread with thick bacon, shoestring hash browns, fresh mashed avocado topped with hollandaise and a fried egg. Pair it with a blood mary and you have your ultimate hangover cure.

The Crab Cake Benedict is out of this world.

Last but not least, and possibly our favorite dish, was the Crab Cake Benedict. It's light without leaving you overstuffed. The Crab Cake Benedict includes two poached eggs over a crab cake and toasted English muffin topped with, of course, creamy hollandaise sauce. The crab cake is phenomenal in this dish, giving us more crab meat than filling. Paired with sauteed asparagus this dish is light and delicious.

Happiest Hour has become a go-to stop in Harwood for drinks and bites, and with the addition of their new brunch menu you have another reason to make a visit. Brunch is served on Sundays from 11:30am to 3pm.
