Quill is a perfect example of “don’t judge a book by its cover”. Upon entrance, you feel the instant club and lounge vibe, but step in further and you'll find a chic space to relax and unwind. The Design District’s newest hot spot is perfect as both a late night lounge and an after-work happy hour.

We loved the gold accents and beautiful bar

The decor is posh, with tiled floors, gold accents and large green velvet couches for lounging. It can be crowded and almost club-y late at night but also casual and laid back during happy hour. It’s a little bit of everything that suits many occasions.

The Cucumber Reviver is refreshing and subtly sweet

We visited during their 6 for $6 happy hour and have to say the menu and prices are very appealing. Everything is priced at $6 - from flatbreads to cocktails. We sampled a house wine of the day which was a nice pinot grigio, and one of their craft cocktails. The Cucumber Reviver was refreshing and subtly sweet, with EFFIN Vodka, fresh lime juice, sugar syrup, and cucumber slices. As summer approaches, we think this will make the ultimate refreshing cocktail. They also offer a red wine selection, additional cocktail options and all of their beer at $6.

Fresh Yellowtail Ceviche mixed with peppers and tabasco

With such good prices, we had to try a few of their snack selections. The three that stood out most were the Yellowtail Ceviche, Naan Bread Flatbread, and Hummus. The Yellowtail Ceviche was a refreshing mix of peppers and tabasco and, topped with plantain chips, it made a tasty dish.

Italian inspired Naan Flatbread

The flatbread changes daily, and the day we stopped by they were featuring one that was Italian inspired. The crispy Naan bread was topped with mushrooms, spinach, olive oil and a generous amount of feta. The fresh toppings and crispy crust made for a great pairing.

Hummus and warm pita bread

A great dish to share amongst friends is the hummus and pita. Crunchy and soft pita is paired with a creamy and flavorful hummus was a winner at our table! Another item we felt fitting to share among the table were the Ozersky Burger Sliders. Three mini juicy burger patty served on a soft bun and fresh veggies made for a delicious bite. These burgers were so good we longed for more.

The entrance to Quill is located on the side next to Oak and they offer valet parking. Quill makes both a great place for a happy hour as well as late night drinks with friends or a date. From its posh decor to delicious cocktails and snacks, we loved our visit to the Design District’s newest lounge.
