Highland Park Village welcomes their newest (and cutest) resident, BIRD Bakery. From their Instagram-worthy decor to unbelievable baked goods, sandwiches, and breakfast, BIRD Bakery will entice you to become a regular after your first visit.

Their neon sign is definitely Instagrammable.

Their beautiful tiled floors, clean and crisp decor and Instagrammable neon sign "Let Them Eat Cake" quickly makes this place a cafe you'll want to spend hours in.

Everything's baked fresh daily just hours before you visit, using only the finest ingredients. They don't let anything go to waste, though, and at the end of the day they donate all remaining cupcakes and treats to local non-profits and philanthropies.

Stop by for breakfast, lunch, afternoon treats or dinner; you can't go wrong with anything off their menu! For breakfast, they offer yummy morning favorites like Spinach Parmesan Quiche A Pimento Cheese Popover, and a Breakfast Casserole Cup as well as an array of baked goods for those looking for something a little sweeter. Don't skip out on their lattes and tea. They feature signature espresso drinks and an array of tasty teas served both hot and cold.

The Traditional Turkey with fresh veggies, carved turkey, and hearty bread makes the perfect lunch.

Soup and sandwich combos make the perfect lunch at BIRD Bakery. Their range of sandwiches is more conventional but divine. The classic creations include egg and chicken salad, pimento cheese, and traditional turkey that can't be beaten. All come with kettle-cooked chips and a pickle.

The Nostalgic Grilled Cheese is a comforting classic.

Their comfort sandwiches like the Nostalgic Grilled Cheese (with a side of tomato basil soup) and Tuna Melt make the perfect warm lunch on a winter day. If you're looking for something lighter, try any of their sandwiches protein style, served with gluten free crackers instead of bread.

We're still dreaming about their award-winning Carrot Cake Cupcake.

Looking to try a few flavors? We suggest ordering a mini cupcake and cookie to share with the table.

Not ordering a baked good is a crime at BIRD Bakery. With so many tempting options, it may be difficult to choose. Showcasing cupcakes, cookies, brownies, pies, specialty seasonal creations and more, the bakery counter never ends. Since they are award winning, we couldn't wait to try a Carrot Cake cupcake. Moist and sweet with pieces of carrot and creamy cream cheese icing, this cupcake only took us a bite or two to finish. Other cupcakes we loved were the mini Elvis with banana and peanut butter and the classic Southern Red Velvet. The mini cupcakes are the way to go if you're looking to try a few flavors. Another must-try from the bakery was the monster cookie; a flourless oatmeal cookie packed with M&M's, peanut butter and chocolate chips. Looking for a pie or cake for an upcoming party? BIRD Bakery also serves whole pies, custom cakes, cupcakes, cookies and more by the dozen.

BIRD Bakery isn't only the cutest addition to Highland Park Village but also the most divine. We'll be searching for any reason to indulge in this delicious bakery again and again.
