You may know Warby Parker as the online eyeglasses and sunglasses retailer with amazing prices, but did you know there is a Warby Parker store right here in Dallas? Dallas is one of just 10 cities with a Warby Parker store (Austin is one of five cities with a Warby Parker showroom). The store stands out on Henderson Avenue with its bright turquoise exterior and a pencil in the front of the building. The interior carries out the classroom theme, with books, school supplies, and glasses to help you get to the top of the class.

Warby Parker just released a new fall line incorporating warm colors of fall such as dark red, browns, and tans. Some frames come in solid colors, but others are two-toned with one color fading into another. You will also find updates on the popular tortoise pattern, including one with flecks of blue! The line also features several new frames in varying shapes to fit any style or face.

Some of our favorite specs from the new line include Maynard and Beckett. Maynard takes the shape of round glasses and adds just a little structure with flat tops. The colors of Beckett are just plain fun with a subtle tortoise on the top half and a seafoam green bottom half.

Warby Parker changed the game in the eyeglasses industry with their online store and innovative home try-on system allowing potential customers to try five frames for five days for free. One of the many things we love about Warby Parker is they not only have great style, but they are doing good! For every pair of glasses or sunglasses sold, Warby Parker makes a donation to one of its charity partners who work to train men and women in developing countries to give basic eye exams and to sell glasses at affordable prices in their communities. One of the beautiful results of this system is it empowers these men and women to own their own business that they can tailor to their own communities.

Stop by Warby Parker on Henderson for a fun shopping experience next time you need glasses. Just be prepared to receive lots of compliments on your new look and to feel great about supporting a business that supports others!
