Beer + Football + Food = Revelry on Richmond
Fall means football season, bringing up the ever important question, where are you watching the game? Montrose’s newest sports bar and restaurant, Revelry on Richmond, fills a void for the neighborhood and might just become your favorite game watching spot.
The sports bar boasts over 40 craft beers on draft, rotating seasonally. Beer lovers will enjoy the range of local, regional and international brews. In addition to the extensive draft (and bottle) beer selection, Revelry also has a solid mixology program. From classic cocktails like the Moscow Mule (complete with the classic copper cup) and Manhattan to specialty libations like the Spicy Cucumber Cocktail or Basil-Berry Revelrita.
The Moscow Mule, served in a copper cup, is one of Revelry's classic cocktails.
As far as food goes, the menu reads like a book, featuring everything from sharable community eats to salads and customizable burgers. Skillet fries, nachos or buffalo strips are perfect for group game watching. The Buffalo Strips--hand battered chicken tenders are topped with your choice of sauce, including the Amber Ale Buffalo Sauce, made with Saint Arnold Amber Ale (bringing the beer concept full circle!). For something more substantial, chow down on The Hot Chick chicken sandwich, The Brat or one of Revelry’s customizable burgers. Swap out different patties for each burger selection, beef patty, chicken breast, ground turkey or black bean patty.
Buffalo Strips and fries are a great accompaniment to a beer.
The Regular features shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, homemade pickles, onion, American cheese and Siracha Mayo.
If gameday doesn’t bring you in the door, their great specials certainly will! The weeknight $5 happy hour special from 3-7 p.m. has become a fast favorite with house wine and beer to Revelry’s signature Frozen Vodka Red Bulls. Bar snacks like chips & queso, buffalo strips and a fresh baked pretzel are also available for the $5 price. Revelry’s happy hour isn’t the only reason to visit on a weeknight. Daily specials, such as Burger + Craft Draft for $12 every Thursday, make this bar an easy place to stop by for lunch or dinner.
