Get a Taste of Wine Country at Sixty Vines

Dreaming of a weekend in the wine country? No need to book a flight, just head a little north on the tollroad to Plano for a taste of Napa at Sixty Vines. From the minds of Front Burner Restaurants, the group who brought us Velvet Taco, Whiskey Cake, and Mexican Sugar, the much anticipated wine country inspired restaurant, Sixty Vines, meets every great expectation and more. Serving brunch, lunch and dinner, you will want to find an excuse to stop in for all three. It’s everything you want in a restaurant; delicious and well thought out cuisine, a beautifully designed dining space and plenty of wine to choose from. With a massive bar and plenty of seating options for large groups, it is the perfect spot to unwind after work, meet for a date, or dine with a group of friends. Open and modern, the space is filled with white marble, and the walls are graced with stunning dark iron windows. From the interior alone, Sixty Vines takes you far away from bustling city of Dallas. It is obvious why there is so much buzz about this one-of-a-kind restaurant.

Enjoy a glass or flight of wine at the beautiful and expansive bar.

Sixty Vines has plenty of seating for large groups, and open views of the kitchen.

As the name suggests, the restaurant has sixty wines by the glass, thirty-six wines on tap and an extensive list of bottles and craft beer. The options are endless when you can choose your wine in the following sizes: 2.5 oz, 5 oz, 8 oz, and 750 ml. Why the wine on tap, you ask? Wine on tap is not only eco-friendly - each keg saving 26 wine bottles from ending up in a landfill - but with no corkage there is no spoilage, and each glass from a keg is served at the perfect temperature. Sixty Vines is a true wine-lover’s paradise, offering a monthly wine club membership with the option of one or two liters of wine every month. You also receive exclusive perks like reserved tables, rewards points, invites to events, and mobile payment. Sign us up! The restaurant also serves their own Vine Huggers private label wines created by Bill Knuttel, long time California wine maker. We suggest the Vine Huggers Sauvignon Blanc or the Pinot Noir, a personal favorite in the wine flight that we ordered.

The outdoor conservatory- fall days are meant to be spent here!

Cheers! A Sauvingon Blanc wine flight to start the meal.

We dined al fresco in the beautiful outdoor conservatory, and started our meal with a white and red wine flight. Everybody knows that wine and cheese make the perfect pair so we ordered the salumi & cheese plate to complement our wine choices. The cuisine at Sixty Vines is meant to highlight and pair with the wine, and thanks to our knowledgeable server, she was able to suggest menu items that would best match our wine choices. Regardless of your wine or beer choice, make sure to order the crispy Zucchini Chips as an appertizer. We couldn't get enough! The menu has an array of wine-country inspired options like fresh pasta and gourmet pizza, as well as entrée selections such as chicken, steelhead trout, and a to-die-for Cabernet Burger with duck fat lemon potatoes. They also offer a full list of sides to order a la carte - our favorite being the brussel sprouts. Full of flavor and with an extra kick, these brussel sprouts are not your average vegetable. We finished the meal with what has become my new go-to dessert, Deviled Affogato. All of my favorite things in one amazing dish- chocolate, caramel, and coffee!

Delicious Salumi & Cheese Plate with local meats and cheeses.

You won't be able to stop eating these delicious Crispy Zucchini bites.

If you love a good burger, the C.A.B. Burger is for you!

Not your average vegetable, the oven roasted Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts were a hit!

I was hooked on Sixty Vines from the minute I walked in. The friendly and attentive staff, beautiful interior, and well thought-out menu and wine completely won me over. For some Dallasites, Plano might be a little bit of a drive. But trust me when I say that any distance to get to Sixty Vines is well worth it.
